I have a decent personality, I can stand to be alone or with groups of people. Not a leader, but observant, willing to help whenever needed. Love pets if they are dogs, cats are OK but I don't have one right now...can stand children in small doses. I like to know what is going on in the world. Don't really care for cooking, but it is fun if done together or for a special occasion. Don'treally think I am a homebody as I am always making excuses to go somewhere. Housework is a bore, but I do it out of necessity. If I could travel all the time, I would love it. Don't have any responsibilities except for myself and the pup.

My all time favorite movie is Dances with Wolves, although Out of Africa is a close second. I am a real movie buff, seeing several DVD's a week. I read books all the time. They are nature's sleeping pill for me. I like thrillers, mysteries, detective stories. Don't have a particular author I like best.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I am a former archaeologist, but owned and operated a retail jewelry boutique for the last several years. Am currently looking for a job, but not having much luck.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Wandering the back roads, hiking anywhere, camping, playing with the dog. Pursuing hobbies like jewelry making and painting folk art projects on occasion.

What do you hate doing?
Cooking, housework, taxes. Fishing and hunting shows on TV, soaps, and non-stop war documentaries.

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
Grew up on a farm in the mid-west...left at age 16. Not a farmer, I guess. Have lived all over the US in the last 40 or so years...couple of other places, too. Have been in the southwest for19 years in a few locations, and really love the place. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I have an almost 2 yr. old Boxer. She is a ton of fun and the most precious pet I have had in a long time. First big dog, though.

Honesty, truthfulness, and unable to lie.

Moving to Tucson.

High bridges...especially foot bridges where you can see though to the bottom of canyon.
