Tell about yourself - your personality, lifestyle, etc.
I'm 62 years old, and live in Puyallup WA. I love all kinds of music, especially country. However, a rainy day, my candles lit, and soft music in the background is very comforting. I would love to share life's ups and downs with a very special person. To me friendship is extremely important. Everything else falls into place if it is right. I adore cooking, love wine, or ice cold beer and pizza. I enjoy crafts, sight-seeing, museums, and day trips. I have 2 old lady cats..20yrs old. I/ve had them all their lives and have moved cross-country 3 times with them. (They were not too crazy about that, but, where I go, they go. My granchildren are very unique in that they actually listen! Of course they are the cutest kids this side of heaven. (But then you would expect a grandma to say that)

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I'd reallly like to meet a man who shares my interests and wants to share his interests with me. I need someone honest, ethical, and can accept me as I am. I have a very friendly and sharing nature. I'd love to share cooking, wine tasting, baseball games, football games, and life in general with the right man.

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
I would love to have a closeness that 2 people can share. I truly believe that there does have to be a foundation called "friendship" before anything else. I hope there is someone who feels the same way.

Do you have kids / grandkids? Tell about them.
I've got 4 kids, 3 boys and 1 girl all grown. I've got 8 grandchildren. 5 in Phoenix and 3 here in Puyallup. amazing kids, all of them. They range in ages from 18 all the way down to 2 years. Very well behaved which is a real rarity today. But then I have always stressed the Golden Rule. If you will just treat every one in your life just like you want to be treated, your life will be truly a gift.

What have you accomplished so far in your life that you are most proud of?
Raised a bunch of kids that I am totally proud of and still able to get out of bed .. unassisted in the morning!!!!!

Where have you lived and traveled so far? Where would you like to go?
I'd love to see Washington D.C., especially the Smithsonian Inst. Also I want to go whale watching at Friday Harbor. How exciting would that all be!!!!

My family is my life. I am very blessed to have wonderful kids that I can count on when needed, and that they are always there for me.

Favorite movies have been Westside Story, South Pacific, and Vin Diesel in The Pacifier.

It doesn't matter, I just enjoy life.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I love to decorate for the seasons. Fall is my favorite, the colors are so beautiful. But when summer comes I am so ready for it! To live in Washington state is my ideal of the perfect place to live. I love the beauty of nature. I love Sinbad, Bill Cosby, and our president. I live beining at home, or trying a new restaurant out. I ADORE chinese food.

What do you hate doing?
I HATE HATE packing to move!

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
Oringinally was born in West Virginia, and when I was 15 we moved to Phoenix, Az. I lived there for 38/40 years. Raised my kids there and 11 years ago moved here to Puyallup. Never looked back..Besides..120 degrees is more hot then I need!!! Two of my sons still live there with there families. Another son lives in Colorado Springs, and my daughter lives here with her little family.

Do you have pets? Tell about them.
I've got 2 cats, 20 years old and have had them since they were 7 weeks old. No one has told them their age so they still play as if they were much younger.

What would you say is your best virtue?
My best virture is I don't lie. Mostly cause I would never be able to remember what I said if I had to say it again. I am honest, I am a very caring person, maybe to a fault.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Believe it or not, the most daring thing I have ever done was to quit my job of 20 years in Az, sell my house that had a second mortgage on it pay the realator an extra $1000 (the 2nd mtg had a pre-payment penalty), load up a U-haul, and move from Az to Wa. state in 1998. Never regretted it.

What terrifies you?
The dark.

If you were on a deserted island, and you could choose 3 items to take, what would they be?
Hmmm. on a desert island I would want never ending toilet paper, cold beer, and deoderant.

Your ultimate intimate dinner party would include which 3 guests (dead or alive)?
My ultimate dinner party would include President Obama, My neighbor, who is the funniest lady alive and it's just her nature, but sometimes it takes me to tears due to the fact I have laughed so hard that my face hurts, and God. (can you imagine the stories God might share??????????

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
I have a few extra pounds, I would live to lose them, but I keep forgetting how. (-:

Love gardening, veggies as well as flowers. Love to see new things and go typical tourist sight-seeing tours so I can learn the history of where I am.
